We want your purchase to reach you in perfect condition and as quickly as possible, without consuming all of the money you've saved with our great offers. We do this by using either Royal Mail or DPD to send your goods. As we deliver to UK only street addresses, we have streamlined the dispatch processes to speed up delivery even more. And because everything in our shop is in stock, there will never be a delay waiting for back orders.

You can expressly select any of the available delivery methods at checkout, but the default method represents a good compromise between speed and cost. We always carefully balance delivery speed and cost given the precise weight, size and destination of your order, and thus arrive at the best outcome for you.

Carefully Packed

Every shipment is carefully checked for accuracy and completeness before being packed using top quality mailing materials. This ensures that your order reaches you in the same showroom condition in which it leaves our warehouse. All items are packed as compactly as possible, while ensuring sound protection of your order during transit.


We will process your order promptly. Orders received by 4pm on a working day (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays) are packed and dispatched the same day. All remaining orders are dispatched on the next working day. The only time this doesn't happen is when we cannot proceed with an order, e.g. when a delivery address is invalid or incomplete.

The arrival time of your purchase is largely the result of the delivery method you choose. The following sections provide some additional information for the services we use.

Royal Mail

Royal Mail 1st Class arrives next day for over 85% of deliveries - but that's an average, there is no guarantee for an individual item. In fact, Royal Mail defines 1st Class items as 'delayed' only after 4 business days. You should thus expect delivery no later than the fourth business day (Mon-Fri) after the date of dispatch.

During the checkout process, additional services (e.g. Special Delivery) may be available depending on the size and destination of your order. Some of these services may be faster, while others will be slower than our Standard service.


The service we use is "DPD Next Day". Delivery is to most UK destinations within one or two business days, respectively, but takes longer to several less central and offshore addresses. Full details about this service are available from the DPD website.

DPD deliveries are attempted between 7:00am and 5.30pm to an address, rather than a named individual, and require a signature upon delivery. If the delivery attempt fails, a card will be left informing of the alternative delivery options available. DPD consignments can be tracked online. 

Guaranteed Services

Several of the above services are advertised by the respective carrier as "guaranteed". This means that the carrier advertises the service as including a delivery attempt after a specific amount of time, e.g. on the business day following dispatch. This does not however mean that guarantees your order will arrive on the day specified. We cannot and do not guarantee that a particular order will arrive on a particular day. There are cases when such "guaranteed delivery" orders will be delayed, e.g. because nobody is there to sign for receipt of the item, because the driver can't find the delivery address, or because the post code provided doesn't match the address. In all cases where the expected delivery attempt isn't made as advertised for the service you selected, and you haven't contributed to the delay, we will refund the entire delivery charge once you let us know about the delay. We do not however offer any further indemnities or insurance in cases of delivery delays.

To find out the cost of delivery, place the item you want in your online shopping basket.

We want you to get the greatest possible saving on your order, so we charge separately for delivery. This is much better than adding the delivery cost to every single price, which would make you pay for delivery several times when you buy more than one item. 

The delivery cost is computed on the total size, weight and value of your order. For complete transparency, the delivery cost is computed and shown whenever you view your shopping basket. We don't like surprises at the end of a checkout process, so there are no hidden add-ons or extra costs.

Our carriers operate maximum weight limits per parcel, and their charges increase for more weight and/or more parcels. As your order increases in weight, we may thus have to send it in multiple parcels, and the higher carrier charges are reflected in the delivery charge for your order.

Best Method

We have proven and tested procedures to get deliveries to our carriers swiftly, and with a late cut-off. This allows over 90% of orders placed by 4pm on a working day to be with our customers the next day, although this can take up to 4 business days. If you need guaranteed next day delivery, you can upgrade the delivery method during the checkout process. For operational reasons, we may occasionally upgrade the delivery method at our expense. This can include using a method not advertised on the website, but we guarantee that the service actually used will have at least the same advertised delivery performance as the service you selected, and if that isn't possible, that we will refund any extra delivery charge you paid above the minimum for your order. Orders which are heavy or of high value are most likely to be upgraded.

Delivery Process

As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you will be sent an email confirmation. Many orders are sent using a service with tracking ability. This allows you to check the progress of your delivery on its way to you. The details, such as the carrier's job number, are given in the email. Please note that many of the services require a signature upon receipt. This means we can only deliver to physical addresses, and not to PO Boxes or BFPO addresses.
